Initially, a new visitor enters our website. Then he/she tries our app. If
he/she is happy with our application, he/she will register using his email
address. In case, marketing collateral is required, he/she will download it
from the app. The registered users will then confirm their email id by clicking
on the confirmation link sent to their mail inbox. Such users will be termed as
‘Engaged Users’. Once these engaged users pay for availing any of our services
offered in the app, they will then become ‘Paid customers’. Finally, if the
user drops out without making any purchase then they will be categorized as
‘Lost Customers’. The user communication will be continuously made with both
the above-said customers as a part of the retention process.
