You must get an Indian tourist e-Visa for entering the Indian Territory.

Yes. The Indian immigration department will require proof of yellow fever vaccination if the nation of the visitor possesses a risk of yellow fever.

7. Is Indian tourist e-Visa mandatory for transiting through India?
Not necessary if you are only transiting through India and you will not go through customs or leave the transit area.

8. What is the ideal time for applying for an Indian tourist e-Visa?
As per Indian government norms, you must apply for an e-Visa 120 days before your intended arrival
date. However, Indian e-Visa can be applied for at any time. It is a good practice to apply at least four

13. What are the documents that are needed to be furnished to procure an Indian medical e-Visa?
Your passport’s digital copy (PDF format), digital passport picture (JPEG format), a hospital letter in their letterhead (PDF format) and a credit/debit card or a Paypal account is all that is needed.

14. When will an Indian Medical e-Visa expire?
Upon your arrival, the Indian medical e-Visa will be valid for sixty days.

15. How many entries are granted for a single medical e-Visa?
A maximum of three entries is allowed per medical e-Visa.

16. What are the conditions for uploading a photo in the Indian e-Visa application?
A digital photo is essential for an Indian e-Visa application. Also make sure that:
i. The width and height of the photo are precisely the same
ii. The picture contains the full face of the e-Visa applicant in the front view with the eyes wide open
iii. The head of the person is at the centre of the frame and covers everything from hair to the chin
iv. The background of the photo is of either white or light-coloured background
v. There are no shadows present either on the face or on the background
vi. The picture does not contain any borders

17. Can a refugee travel document be used to travel to India instead of a passport?
