The Moto X Play is another
solid and good looking phone from Motorola. The phone is pretty traditional in
its design and layout except its SIM-plus-microSD tray that pops out to reveal
two Nano SIM slots on one side and space for a microSD card on the other side.
The mobile comes with a
5.5-inch full-HD display that looks good and is bright enough to snap pictures
even outdoors. The viewing angles are also decent.
The smartphone comes with
the quad octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC processor along with
2GB of RAM to run applications smoothly without any issue. You will never
experience any lags even while running heavy games like Asphalt 8.
The Moto X Play comes with a
massive 3630mAh battery, one of its standout specifications along with its
21-megapixel rear camera. It can easily last a day of heavy use without much
difficulty.
A unique feature that is
present in Moto X Play is Moto Assist, Motorola's take on virtual assistants
that can perform certain simple tasks. The app can do simple things like changing
your notification settings, announcing the names of callers and SMS senders while
driving.
The camera on the Moto X
Play captures good-looking images with more detail at outdoors and when there
is plenty of light than most phones in this price range. Overall, the rear
camera performance is satisfactory if not the best.
