Power cuts have become a part of our daily life in recent times. With rising levels of faults in power grids the state’s Power generation capacity has already taken a massive blow. And now the latest news is that the second unit of Kudankulam nuclear power plant will reach its threshold potential of 1000 MW in 3 month time. Mr. Sharma, Chairman and MD of NPCIL had told that construction of third and fourth units are also on their way and orders have been placed for acquiring essential equipment too. Let us hope that we get access to uninterrupted power supply sooner.
