BLUEBASE – YEAR REVIEW 2015: [Article written as part of content writing work]

    The year 2015 has been an auspicious year for all of us. Here we would like to share with you some key moments in terms of business for us:

·        We have moved into a newer and better workspace which has created a nice work ambience for our staff.

·        We are conducting ‘Hackathon’ an internal project competition twice in a month where we encourage our programmers to work exclusively on new ideas and initiatives.

·        Our programmers have together clocked over an incredible 20,000 man hours of productivity in 2015 which will increase by threefold in the upcoming year.

·        We are glad that our company has acquired its first analytics based project from a leading manufacturing company in Chennai.

·        As a part of social initiative we have joined hands with Madras Lions club Blood bank to organize blood donation camps to save precious human lives.

·        We are an active member of Paintbox.org, an organisation that conducts frequent painting excursions for its volunteers to paint dirty walls to create awareness among the residents.

·        Over 5000 persons are making use of our 8 applications developed so far on a day to day basis.

·        Most of our applications developed in the current year have contributed to our society in numerous ways like saving food, reusing assets, increasing employee productivity etc.

·        As an organization we are growing and so do our team, as our team witnessed a rise in headcount to double figures (i.e.) to 11 members in the year 2015.

·        We strive to achieve intense levels of customer satisfaction and that is the reason why we give utmost importance to customer support. Our Software Engineers have successfully closed a whopping amount of 648 support calls in this year alone.

·        We are in the process of implementing a Time Tracking Software for our client Qway Technologies, in which their employees could easily enter their efforts on an hourly basis in a simple timesheet format on a Windows application.

·        We have developed a user friendly self service portal for MRF which provides an efficient way for logging complaints, tracking employee data, viewing HR policies, supplying coupons, viewing and printing pay slips, applying, approving leaves and tracing employee loans during the period from July 2015 to November 2015.

·        We have implemented Canteen Management software for our client IAL using RFid tags in POS platform which has automated the manual process of supplying coupons to each employee for bill calculation during the period from November 2015 to December 2015. Being overwhelmed by our application IAL has also come forward to request us to develop an android application for them.

·        We have also developed a Kitchen Management Application for our client DPWorld during the period from March 2015 to June 2015 for providing customized menu items for different types of employees at various time intervals. We have also made the application more secure by providing OTP based authentication for new guests who make use of this system.

·        We are also providing quality banking solutions and our ongoing UCO BANK project for banking employees’ society bears testimony to this fact. We are developing an integrated software that offers features such as Loan and Ledger Tracking and Finance Management.
