QUESTION:

In the case of a bird flying, it seems a natural act, and a foregone conclusion that it should succeed. In the examples you have given in answer to the previous question, was your success guaranteed, or was it important for you to try, regardless of a possibility of failure?

ANSWER:

Section 1: Background Context:

We all might face some problems in the initial stages of trying something new. It is this very fear that makes us skip the task. In the case of the seagull, its parents were there to support him by cajoling him to fly. Similarly I learned cycling because of the assistance of my parents. It indeed proves that practice makes a man perfect.

Section 2: Explanation:

Success can’t be achieved each and every time. But it lands on the palms of only the people who make an attempt. A man who is unwilling to try is no less than a dead person. Our human race has made all technological advancements only because of incessant trying. Inventing the electric bulb, landing on the moon and achieving independence have all been accomplished after a streak of failures only. Hence humans must never ever give up.

Section 3: Direct Answer:

It is always challenging in the initial few days to learn a new skill. However, we have to strive hard to make our efforts counts at the end. The seagull also faced a similar problem, while taking its first flight. Through the able assistance of its parents, it finally succeeded. Likewise, I was also petrified to drive a bicycle. It was my parents who helped me to overcome the fear and made me learn cycling through means of constant motivation. Yes, my success was guaranteed because of all the efforts that I have put to learn cycling.
