Smiley Media was incorporated in the year 2011 as a brand under the corporate name - “Pixel Stories Media LLP”.

Ever since then, the company has grown leaps and bounds in the past 6 years having served over 1000 happy clients till now…
OUR GROWTH STORY:
Initially, Smiley Media was incorporated with only a handful of photographers, focusing especially on wedding ceremonies and kids events.
Later we entered into the corporate segment through our event, food, interior design, fashion and industrial photography. And now we are proud to say that we have several corporate clients across the globe.
With a dedicated office space and an ever-expanding team of energetic photographers, cinematographers, Digital marketers, colour correction artists, photo & video editors, we are now a team of around 30 members including freelancers.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER:
Mrs Sharadha Gopalakrishnan is an emerging entrepreneur who has been the driving force behind the success of our organization. She has featured in ‘Women Nation’ magazine and Mangaiyar Malar supplement sharing her valuable insights regarding photography and management thereby motivating more and more to set up a successful business.
She even has participated in a live interaction in Chennai’s leading FM station ‘Chennai Live’ sharing tips and ideas for budding media professionals.
Recognizing her efforts, she has been selected as WeDo’s Entrepreneur of the Year for 2 consecutive years 2016 and 2017 for her contribution to photography.

With Engineering as a Degree and Photography as a profession and immense passion, Mani has his own vision towards SmileyMedia.
Photography has always astonished him to a great extent and he always loves shooting people. With dedication in what he does, he makes sure that he always works close to perfection.
Mr Mani is a passionate individual who can never resist capturing things around him through his lens. His world inside is anytime beautiful and he aptly expresses them through his marvellous pictures.

OUR PAST PROJECTS:
We were the proud sponsors of “Radio Mirchi Holi Run” a fun-filled marathon event organized by Radio Mirchi FM station in 2017.
We also entered into an official partnership with BehindWoods.com for covering their ‘Behindwoods Gold medal awards’ ceremony held in June 2018.
A TESTIMONY FOR OUR PROFESSIONALISM:
During the intense floods in Chennai during December 2016, almost all the communication lines including landlines, internet, and mobile connectivity were lost.
When the whole city was floating in water, we had a jam-packed day with a marriage event in the morning followed by a Reception function in the evening of the same day!
Amidst a heavy downpour, we were not able to confirm the event and also found it very tough to reach Sadayappa Mandapam, the Reception venue situated far at Poonamallee..
Yet we managed to turn on time for the event and everybody were so happy about our sincerity, dedication, punctuality, and work as usual…
