Mazhalai foundation offers hope to orphans, children of sex workers and children who have been abused. Our motto is to help these children by providing them accommodation and education, besides nurturing them to become responsible self-reliant individuals. The activities include training in vocational courses (computer education, tailoring, etc.,), yoga and extracurricular activities.

Mazhalai foundation aims to solicit support from able and concerned individuals for the growing number of orphaned clients of the Children's Rehabilitation Center. The foundation aims to provide and maintain a holistic service for the orphaned children through:
1. educational assistance;
2. educational and related activities that would make them understand better their condition and will give them a choice to resolve it;
3. counseling and other therapeutic activities to let the children share and express their experiences;
4. scouting for foster homes that could provide the children with the love and care that they need; and
5. Providing venues and activities for the orphans to adjust to their foster families.

Restoring orphaned children involves providing the basic needs for protection, nutrition, education and healthcare for orphans and underprivileged children so they may become fulfilled and productive adults.
The World Bank recently estimated that India ranks 2nd in the world for the number of children suffering from malnutrition. Everyday 1000 Indian children die because of diarrhea alone. You can indeed help us make a difference in the world and help children grow into a sustainable community that will contribute in return to our planet’s future.
