Darjeeling strikes conducted successfully:
With the exception of a few events, in general, the strike called by the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) in Darjeeling today passed off peacefully. However, government offices remained open in Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts amidst intense security.
