1.   Open the door of the paper tray.

2.   Pull out the paper tray.

3.   Insert papers to be printed into the paper tray with their print side facing downwards. In case of a photo print, load the photo paper with its print side facing down and HP company’s logo facing up.

4.   Slide the paper forward.

5.   Push back the paper tray.

6.   Close the door of the paper tray.

Steps to print documents:

1.   Select print option in your HP printer software.

2.   Select your printer from the list of available printers.

3.   Click the “Properties” button of your printer.

4.   Select “Portrait” or “Landscape” radio button as per the requirement in the Layout tab.

5.    Select the appropriate paper type in the “Tray Selection” area.

6.   Then choose the required print quality in the “Quality Settings” area.

7.   Choose the relevant paper size from the “Paper Size” drop down list in the advanced tab.

8.   Click “OK” button.

9.   Click “Print” option to start printing.

Printing Quick forms:

Steps to create a copy of a document:

a)   Load the paper with its print side facing down at the front right corner of the scanner glass.

b)   Touch to select the “Copy” option in the home screen.

c)   Use “Settings” option to specify paper type, paper size, quality and other relevant settings.

d)   Touchback button to return to the copy menu.

e)   Touch the Start Black or Start Color to start copying.

Steps to scan a document:

A.  Load the document to be scanned on the right corner of the scanner glass.

B.  Double-click the printer icon on the desktop.

C.  In the HP printer software, click on “Scan a Document or Photo” option.

D.  Select the scan type and click the “Scan” button.

E.  Choose “Save as PDF” option to save the file in pdf format.

F.   Choose “Save as JPEG” option to save the file in image format.

Steps to set up web services:

1.   Open the HP Printer Software.

2.   In the window that opens, double-click “Print & Scan” button.

3.   Select “Connect Printer to the Web” option under Print tab to open the printer’s home page.

4.   Click the tab named “Web Services”.

5.   In the section called “Web Services Settings”, click “Setup”.

6.   Click on “Continue” button and accept the terms of use.

7.   Check and install printer updates if prompted to do so.

8.   Once the printer gets connected to the server, an information page gets printed. Follow the instructions displayed to complete the setup process.

Steps to remove web services:

1.   Touch ePrint à Web Services Settings from the display of the printer’s control panel.

2.   Choose “Remove Web Services”.

3.   Press “Yes” to confirm.

Steps to replace ink cartridges:

1.   Confirm that the printer is powered ON.

2.   Take out the old cartridge by following the below steps:

i.             Lift the access door.

ii.            Open the cartridge slot’s latch.

iii.            Remove the cartridge from its slot.

iv.          Insert the new cartridge at its position through these steps:

a.   Remove the cartridge from its original packing.

b.   Use the pull tab to remove the plastic tape.

c.   Close the latch and slide the new cartridge into its slot.

3.   Finally, close the access door of the cartridge.
