THESE ARE MY LITTLE HUMBLE POEMS REGARDING SOCIAL STATUS OF INDIA:
MOTHER INDIA:
More than 6o years of independence!
Moreover nothing changed since independence!
Once slaves of British!
Since then slaves of own egos!
Crores of people in poverty!
More of politicians with corruption!
Nation with 'unity in diversity'plate!
Sees an ethical and communal riot!
Unemployment adores her crown!
Uneducated make her fame drown!
Country known across the world for its non-violence!
Cannot do anything against terrorists and violence!
'Incredible India','Shining India' chants the government!
'Is India credible to visit?' question haunts the tourist!
Nation once remembered for TajMahal Monument!
Now remembered for Taj-Hotel incident!
Countless citizens in country-but still not
Countable number of medals in sports event!
Is this time to celebrate independence?
Or to act on these nuisance?
Sixty four years of independence
'Super Power India' still in Abdul Kalam's dreams!
Say,Is this the true independence?
Doctors of India:
A marriage function leave or a vacational tour
turns into medical leave

Thanks to bribery!
Time to act:
America ambushed by katrina!
Indonesia illtreated by tsunami!
Europe saw eruption of volcanoes!
India incurred loss of lives in earthquakes!
Acid rains across the earth!
World warned by lethal landslides!
Aren't these an awakening call, to stop acting against nature?
Road rules in india!
Obey traffic signals,cries the government!
Only in presence of traffic police thinks the citizen!
'Speed thrills but kills' says posters!
'Still thrilling speed' is the formula of youngsters!
'Go fast if you have an appointment with God',says a slogan!
'God is even right now attending many appointments' , because of human!
'Wear helmet' for safety advices government!
'Waste of money' thinks the citizen!
Fine for crossing signal line, says police!
Fine is FINE, until they are payable thinks the people!
Pavements once meant for walkers!
Pitifully now used by beggars!
Subways built to cross the roads!
Gave way as a market to street vendors!
Zebra crossing meant for pedestrians!
Reduced to mere designs adorning roads!
No parking roads, now even
Not fit for walking folks!
'Avoid cellphones while driving' phrase
Now looks a strange case!
1-way roads made no-ways,
Courtesy of illegal vehicle parkers!
No entry zones for heavy vehicles
Now main entry zones,thanks to bribe!
ARE THESE REALLY RULES!
OR FOLLOWING THEM ARE FOOLS!
